Mundane astrology

Mundane astrology is the branch of astrology concerned with collective rather than primarily individual affairs.

Instead of focusing on one person’s birth chart, mundane astrologers may examine countries, governments, political developments, social movements, economic conditions and major public events.

What does mundane astrology explore?

Mundane astrology can be used to explore broader patterns of change affecting communities, nations and societies.

Astrologers working in this area may study planetary cycles, charts associated with countries or institutions, and charts calculated for significant public events.

Different astrological traditions approach mundane astrology in different ways, and interpretations can vary considerably between practitioners.
