About
Biography
My name is Yaz (Yasmin). I am a professional Vedic Astrologer based in Los Angeles, CA. I sometimes refer to myself as the contrarian astrologer, because my practice differs greatly from many others' when it comes to specificity, accuracy and depth. Venus Etc. is grounded in astrology's ancient, Eastern origins as well as its astronomically accurate methods. I prepare deeply for each client session, using careful, detailed methods. My delivery is warm and empathetic, offering practical strategic guidance that helps empower the client's agency and confidence with current decisions, transformations and alignments. My practice combines extensive astrological knowledge with natural psychic intuition, tarot and communicative clarity.
About the astrologer
Venus Etc. stands apart for its focus on predictive clarity through advanced Vedic methods of birth chart interpretation. Life-chart readings as well as personal and business audits are useful to a wide variety of individuals from founders, entrepreneurs and high-level executives to busy parents, families and creatives.
Approach to readings
Consultations with Venus Etc. are best suited for those looking for something beyond what they have experienced with Western/tropical astrology. Yaz's approach is skeptical and evidence-based. Rather than focusing on the personality traits of zodiac signs, she focuses on the literal events unfolding in the client's life or business, as is seen in their Vedic chart. She has a strong track record of accuracy. You can read testimonials and learn about her practice at venusetc.com.
How this astrologer works
Traditions
Experience
After years of offering readings informally, Yasmin trained professionally through the advanced coursework and materials of Eastern and Western astrologer James Braha. She is also self-taught through a broad array of books, research and intuitive synthesis, as well as through correspondence with Dr. Steve Moreau, astrologer and acupuncturist. An aptitude for astrology is clearly indicated in Yasmin's own birth chart, a discovery that helped inspire her leap into divinatory practice.
