Sister Palm

Austin, United States

  • Hellenistic astrology · Western astrology
  • 12 years’ experience
  • I specialize in predictive time-telling techniques and traditional astrology. Each reading starts with a basic chart analysis, including a quick rectification to assure birth time is correct. The client is encouraged to ask any questions, either about the formation of their chart, what it means, future events, etc.. We establish the "chart driver(s)" which help to signify timing. Usually we look at a few months to a year ahead.

Ryan Barrett

  • Western astrology
  • 27 years’ experience
  • My sessions are a conversation. I read your birth chart as a living map of your personality, emotional patterns, strengths, growth edges, and life direction. Then we explore together how those themes are showing up in your life right now. Every placement exists on a spectrum, so I begin with the full range of what a placement can mean and let your lived experience guide where we go deeper. I practice evolutionary astrology, which treats the chart as a tool for awareness and conscious choice. Your chart describes the terrain. You decide how you move through it. First sessions run 90 minutes. We build the foundation of your natal chart and look at the timing that's active in your life right now. This session is the starting point for any deeper work together. Follow-up sessions focus on specific transits, decisions, or challenges you're moving through. All sessions are confidential and follow the OPA Ethical Guidelines.

Ashley Ledet

Rosharon, United States

  • Western astrology
  • 1 years’ experience
  • My readings are a collaborative experience. I guide you through the chart one theme at a time, and after each aspect we pause so I can ask you reflective questions about how this energy shows up in your lived experience. This helps you place yourself inside the pattern rather than receiving information passively, your voice and insight are part of the process. You’re welcome to ask for more clarity at any moment as we move through the chart. After we explore the main themes, we open space for your questions. These questions often connect directly to the transit energy you’re currently moving through, because the active timing in your chart usually mirrors what you’ve already been sensing in your life. We look at your natal patterns and your present transits together so you can understand where you are in your cycle and how to move forward with intention.

Jeanne Friscia

San Francisco, United States

  • Hellenistic astrology · Medieval astrology
  • 5 years’ experience
  • My approach is listening to the client to understand the natal promise of their personal birth chart. I enjoy timing and prediction. I like technique and have studied many of the traditional ones at length, but only with the interaction with the client and divine signals from the oracle can I know what to reach for. I would describe my astrology practice as a well-rounded synthesis of ancient traditions. I came to it through the study of Hellenistic and then a deep dive into the golden era of early Medieval. Astrologers find themselves in a uniquely exciting time in astrology as so much of the ancient wisdom, seemingly lost to the sands of time continues to be translated, enriching current practices.

Rachel Rawlings

  • I practice traditional astrological methodologies, incorporating contemporary influences when appropriate. My focus is primarily Traditional astrology, rooted in Medieval and Persian techniques, using the Western tropical zodiac and Whole Sign houses, sometimes fused with transits of modern outer planets. I especially enjoy working with ancient timing techniques from the Hellenistic and early Medieval eras. Expect a conversation about the patterns of your life, rooted in classic astrological tradition, focused on honest and careful interpretation. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients from across the world. My approach is structured but flexible and integrates relevant timing periods and transits, leaning on my studies with esteemed teachers and my own ongoing consultation practice.

Venus Etc.

Los Angeles, United States

  • Jyotish (Vedic astrology)
  • 9 years’ experience
  • Consultations with Venus Etc. are best suited for those looking for something beyond what they have experienced with Western/tropical astrology. Yaz's approach is skeptical and evidence-based. Rather than focusing on the personality traits of zodiac signs, she focuses on the literal events unfolding in the client's life or business, as is seen in their Vedic chart. She has a strong track record of accuracy. You can read testimonials and learn about her practice at venusetc.com.

Linda Sherwin Astrology

St. Louis, MO, United States

  • Western astrology
  • 12 years’ experience
  • I am an evolutionary astrologer with a psychological bent. I am looking at the chart as an aspirational map for the client. Every planet presents a spectrum of energy available to the client. We decide in where we place the needle on the spectrum. If we are able to consciously understand our unconscious reactions, we make better decisions for our to help us to fulfill our mission in this life. But we are human. Everyone learns through trial and error as we go, so no shame attached to our less effective choices. There will always be another chance to address our planetary energies differently. I believe that there is nothing in the chart that is not necessary for our soul growth. In the words of Carl Jung, we are handed a map to this life that fits us perfectly. He wrote :”We are born at a given moment, in a given place, and like …wine, we have the qualities of the year and season in which we have been born.”

Amanda Sophia

Louisville, United States

  • Hellenistic astrology · Western astrology
  • 8 years’ experience
  • I start by identifying the client's purpose for the consultation so I can focus on their specific needs and tailor my approach. Depending on their needs, I can look at their natal chart, transits, the solar return chart, progressed chart, annual profections, and zodiacal releasing periods. My goal with each reading is to make sure the client walks away feeling hopeful, cared for, and satisfied.

Mallory Key

Nashville, United States

  • Western astrology
  • 10 years’ experience
  • My approach to readings centers on creating an open, listening space for genuine dialogue with each client. Using the Natal Chart, Transit Chart, and Progressed Chart together, I read the energy and elemental balance at play and explore how the planets currently in motion are speaking to a client's natal placements. This reveals the type of energy a client may be experiencing in the moment, and how that energy shifts and builds over the course of a year. We also look at the elements in the chart — Earth, Fire, Air, and Water — to recognize how each planet expresses its character through the natural elements. Above all, my goal is for clients to leave every session more educated and aware of their own chart — better equipped to understand the ongoing conversation between who they are and the world around them, and to foster compassion for themselves, and in turn, for others.
